The Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) was established by Act 38 of 1991 as an Export Credit Agency (ECA) with a share capital of N50, 000,000,000 (Fifty Billion Naira) held equally by the Federal Ministry of Finance Incorporated and the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The attention of the Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) has been drawn to some advertisements published on some social media platforms titled ‘NEXIM Bank recruitment 2018 Exercise'.

For the avoidance of doubt, we wish to state as follows:

That NEXIM is currently not recruiting and has not requested candidates to register online or via its website or any of its social media platforms for recruitment into the Bank.

That NEXIM will advertise all vacant positions whenever it is ready to embark on a recruitment exercise.

That members of the public, particularly unsuspecting applicants, should be wary of fraudulent invitations for any job recruitment exercise via any social media platform and that anyone who entertains such advertisements/publications does so at his or her own risk.

That anyone contacted for the purpose of the purported recruitment other than through advertisement duly placed by the Bank should not hesitate to report such invitations to relevant law enforcement agencies.
