DR. OKWU JOSEPH NNANNA
Dr. Nnanna is an economist and a central banker. He has three decades of post qualification professional experience. He attended William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey and University of Houston, in Houston Texas, USA from 1975-80, where he read Finance, Public Policy and Economics. He graduated with B.A, M.A and PhD diplomas. Since graduation, Dr. Nnanna has attended several economic policy oriented training programs. In 2003 and 2004, he studied at Harvard University and participated in the macroeconomic policy and leadership/ organizational management training programs. In 2006, he attended the Bundesbank intensive training program on how to:’Conduct Monetary Policy in a Monetary Zone’.
Dr. Nnanna was appointed Deputy Governor (Financial System Stability) Central Bank of Nigeria on February 3, 2015. His work experience includes: a brief period of teaching at the University of Houston at Clear Lake City campus (USA) and at the federal government Polytechnic, Akure (Nigeria) in 1980-82. And from 1982-1989, he worked as a staff economist in the international trade and exchange rate section of the Research Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
His international work experience started with his engagement by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) from 1989-94. During this period he worked as a staff economist and desk officer in the African Department of the IMF and participated in multilateral surveillance missions to several African countries including: Kenya, South Africa, Lesotho, Sychelles , etc, and assisted the authorities in their economic policy making process and in the implementation of their structural adjustment programs.
Dr. Nnanna rejoined the Central Bank of Nigeria in 1994 and was appointed as an Advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank. And in 2001 was appointed the Director of Research and Statistics of the Central Bank of Nigeria. At the Central Bank, he actively participated in the policy formulation process which culminated into the liberalization and deregulation of Nigeria’s financial system in particular and the real productive sectors of the economy as a whole.
Dr. Nnanna was appointed the Director-General of the West African Monetary Institute in 2006-2008. The Institute is the agency responsible for the actualization of the proposed second West African monetary union. As prelude to the introduction of the West African common currency, he convinced the authorities of the member states of the West African Monetary Zone to use their local currencies in intra-regional trade in order to conserve their scarce foreign exchange reserves and minimize exchange rate risks.
Dr. Nnanna also served as full time consultant to the government of Nigeria as a technical assistant to the National Economic Management Team and the Presidential Steering Committee on Global economic crisis. He was also a part-time consultant to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
In 2012-2014, Dr. Nnanna , served as the Alternate Executive Director, representing Nigeria and 21 other sub-sahara African countries on the Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Washington D.C.
He is an author/co-author of five books and over forty published articles. Dr. Nnanna has served on the boards of many organizations and belongs to several professional societies. A life member of the Nigeria Economic Society. He is a recipient of Dr. Nkwame Nkrumah Africa Leadership Award and also an avid tennis player.

Abba Bello has 28 years’ experience in banking, where he has held senior management positions in corporate banking, regional and commercial banking, and public sector banking in more than a decade. Abba also had a brief stint in auditing.
Until his appointment as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Export-Import Bank in April 2017, he was Executive Director, Unity Bank Plc, in charge of Corporate Banking, Agriculture and North Directorate.
Abba has cognate experience in international banking. He was the pioneer Managing Director/CEO of United Bank for Africa Plc’s subsidiaries in the Republic of Chad and Zambia for several years.
Abba has attended several courses in Nigeria and abroad in leadership, advanced management, and executive management. He is a member of Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria, and a Fellow, Institute of Credit Administration.
DR. MUDASHIRU OLAITAN, Member

Dr. Mudashiru Olaitan is a Banker with years of considerable experience. He joined CBN as an Assistant Manager in 1989 and is currently the Director, Development Finance Department. He is in-charge of the Development and implementation of various Policies, Programmes and Schemes aimed at the effective, efficient and sustainable delivery of financial services to special sectors of the economy.
Dr. Olaitan participated in the design and implementation of Finance Policy/Real sector interventions of the Bank which includes Nigeria Export Stimulation Facility, Youth Entrepreneurship Development Programme, MSME Development Fund (MSMEDF) etc. He had also chaired a number of committees ranging from Strategy, Monetary Policy and Restructuring committees. He received R.K.O OSAYAMEN AWARD as the outstanding scholastic research in banking by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

Mr. Udo is an Economist and has had an illustrious career as a Civil Servant for the past 30 years. He studied B.Sc. Economics and graduated from the University of Calabar in 1987 and went on to obtain a Master’s in Business Administration from the National Open University of Nigeria in 2010.
Mr. Udo is currently a Deputy Director at the Ministry of Finance and is in charge of the Trade Relations Division handling matters relating to trade facilitation, Nigeria Export Supervision Scheme [NESS] and the Import Supervision Scheme [CISS]. He is also a Director II in the Home Finance division where his responsibilities center around the conduct of the Ministry’s relations with its agencies in the financial services sector, the Federal Government’s financial relations with the state and local Governments and processing of matters relating to trade facilitation in collaboration with the Nigeria Customs Service. Mr. Udo has had a pleather of experience working under various Ministries in Nigeria, from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Special duties and Intra-Governmental Affairs, Ministry of Petroleum Resources and Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. He has attended various courses within the country and abroad and this has added value to his extensive work experience. Some of his many achievements include the support role he played in the successful 20% increase in revenue generation to the Nigerian Governments treasury during the 2015 bilateral discussions.
Mr. Udo is a highly motivated and result oriented person who dedicates his time to the achievement of individual and organizational goals.

Mr. Babura, an administrator, a career Civil Servant with years of experience. He is the Director, Policy Planning, Research & Statistics at the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade & Investment. He attended Bayero University, Kano, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. His working experience spreads across States and the Federal Civil Service namely Jigawa State Polytechnic; National Human Rights Commission; Federal Ministry of Sports & Social Development; Ministry of Defense; Ministry of Mines and Steel Development; Ministry of Interior (Police Affairs Sector).
Mr.Babura had served as Board member of National Commission of Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCRIMI) and the Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority.
He has received many awards that commend his commitment in achieving high standards of excellence such as the Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. He had attended foreign and local courses on Alternative Dispute Resolution, Economic Rights as Human Rights, Humanitarian Law, Policy Issues on the Nigerian Economy, Corporate Planning and Strategic Development, Public Private Partnership in Public Infrastructure Procurement and Management among others. Among his many achievements, Mr. Babura has published a number of papers and books.

Engr.[Hon] Adesina Adegbenro is a politician, public servant, career engineer and a business man. He attended Dundee College of Technology, Dundee, Scotland; University of Strathclyde, Glassgow. He worked as a trainee in British Oxygen Co. Limited and I.C.I Dyestuff Division Nylon Plant and various designations in Mobil Producing Limited. Engr. Adegbenro was elected as a member of Petroleum Committee and a Chairman of the Refinery and Production Sub-Committee. He was later appointed as Commissioner for Agriculture in Ogun State where he implemented World Bank assisted Programmes.
Engr. Adegbenro started his business career following retirement 1979. He attended various professional courses within and outside Nigeria in Production and Drilling Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Process Engineering and Instrumental Control.

Hajiya Ramatu Ahmed is an Administrator and an active politician. She attended Kaduna State Polytechnic, Zaria and Federal College of Education where she attained a certificate in Public Administration and Education. She worked with Lemaco Nig. Limited, British High Commission, Kaduna and served as Special Assistant to the Governor of Bauchi State [Special Duties]; National Coordinator, Buhari Network Organization; Member, APC National Convention Committee; Member, APC National Assembly Appeal Committee, Cross River State; Member, APC presidential Campaign Council; Member, President Muhammadu Buhari Inauguration Committee among others. Bala M. Bello has about two decades experience in the financial services industry, including banking, capital market and pension fund management. He has worked in senior executive level in the last seven years prior to his appointment as Executive Director, Corporate Services, Nigerian Export Export-Import Bank.
Abba is a graduate of accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He also holds post-graduate degree in Business Administration from University of Liverpool, United Kingdom.
Bala holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, and an MBA, both from The Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Bala began his banking career with Guaranty Trust Bank Plc; and later joined the Securities and Exchange Commission. In 2005, he joined Sigma Pensions Ltd, and was appointed the Executive Director/COO in 2011 and ED Operations from 2013 to 2014. In this capacity he had direct administrative responsibility of over N260 billion ($1.5 billion) funds/assets under management (A-U-M).
Bala established, and served as the founding CEO of the Marine Capital Limited, a real estate development and business/pensions advisory firm in February 2015; and subsequently joined Apricot Investments Limited in March 2016 as the pioneer Managing Director/CEO.
Bala has completed the High Potential Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts and Executive Development Program at Wharton Business School, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania both in the United States of America. He also holds a certificate in Operations Leadership from the prestigious Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, Canada, as well as Portfolio Management Academy Certificate, New York Institute of Finance
